The story behind the boutique:

Gemma Alviar is a Maui designer and owner of Pulelehua Boutique. She has been part of hālau for many years which teaches not only Hula but also about Hawaiian culture, taking care of Hawaii’s land, native flora and lastly to practice aloha. When Gemma made her first lehua flower design in 2016, she had no idea her work would grow over the pandemic and bloom into a nationally recognized fashion line.
